Asus showcased its new luxurious notebook in partnership with Lamborghini. Named as ASUS-Lamborghini VX3, it’s powered by Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T9300, Mobile Intel PM965 chipset, NVidia GeForce 9300M GS with 256MB VRAM, DDR2 667MHz, 2xSODIMM up to 4GB, and SATA 250GB/320GB of Harddisk. Equipped with 12.1-inch widescreen display, it also has 8 in 1 Card Reader, built-in 0.3MP high resolution camera, 3.5G/3G HSDPA (optional), Fingerprint and TPM Module.

Panasonic showcased Toughbook Atom UMPC

Panasonic has developed its own UMPC and showcased at CeBIT 2008. Named as Toughbook, it adopts Intel Atom processor and has 5.6 inch touchscreen display. There is no detail specification and price yet, but it’s definitely designed to be shock resistant device.

BenQ has recently launched its new Penryn-based laptop, Joybook A53. Powered by Core 2 Duo T7250 processor with 512MB of RAM and 80 to 200GB 5400RPM hard drive, Joybook A53’s also equipped with dual-layer DVD writer, 15.4-inch WXGA (1,280 x 800) resolution display, 3 USB 2.0 ports, VGA output, audio in / out and 6-cell battery with 2.3-hours of usage along with integrated Ethernet / wifi, a 4-in-1 multicard reader and a 0.3MP camera.
